Simplified Acquisition Procedures

If the requirement is at or below the simplified acquisition threshold, the KO may set-aside the requirement for consideration among SDVOSBs using simplified acquisition procedures or may award a sole source contract to a SDVOSB. A sole source award is only permissible where there is only one SDVOSB that perform the contract in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations § 19.406 (a)(3).

FedBid.com & Micro-Purchases:

We are regulalr users of the FedBid.com Reverse-auction tool for Contracting Offices.

A Micro-Purchase is an acquisition of supplies or services, the aggregate of which does not exceed $3,000; $2,000 for construction subject to the Davis-Bacon Act; or, $2,500 for services subject to the Service Contract Act.
